CAMPBIENT is run entirely by volunteers, all of whom have participated in at least one previous year.
Ben Kinsley
Ben Kinsley (he, him) is an interdisciplinary artist working in sound, video, and social/contextual practice. He is an Associate Professor of Visual Art at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and an amateur mycologist.
Brad Muller
Brad (he, him) is a musician, DJ and curator at Radio Brennpunkt and co-founder of CAMPBIENT.
David W Halsell
David (he, they) is a multidisciplinary artist and organizer, who has worked in video, sound, installation, and social practice; co-founder of CAMPBIENT.
Ian Mann
Ian (they/them) is a musician, producer, and sound artist based in Olympia Washington, with an abiding love for metal, ambient, and techno music. They are interested in using the experience of recording and listening to sound not only as artistic expression, but also as a research methodology to interrogate dualistic constructions of society and nature and a praxis towards building more meaningful and sustainable modes of being in the world. Ian is currently pursuing a masters degree in environmental studies at The Evergreen State College.

Jordan McClure (he, him) is a sound artist and recording engineer at Bumpo Records in Olympia.
Julia Edith Rigby
Julia Edith Rigby (she/her) is an experimental sound artist, composer, and sculptor who thinks about entanglements among humans and more-than-humans, phenomena and sound. Her projects explore collaboration, cohabitation and interdependence with soniferous animals and environments, imagining futurities which complexify our relationships to sensory worlds and sense of place, loss and renewal, kinship and wonder, climate grief and climate futurities.
Kristine Diekman
Kristine Diekman (she, they) is a media artist and educator. Her recent collaborative media art investigates climate crisis, water scarcity and more-than-human hearing utilizing haptic and tactile interfaces to engage listeners. As an educator, she designs and facilitates community-based workshops worldwide that utilize physical computing and storytelling. Her work has shown extensively and is in collections such as the J. Paul Getty Museum and the Fales Library Special Collections. She is Emeritus Professor in the Art, Media & Design Department at California State University.
Mary Edwards
Mary Edwards (she, her) is a composer and environmental sound artist whose practice encompasses installation, film scoring and performance. Themes of temporality, impermanence, nostalgia and the natural world recur throughout her work. She is interested in the invisible architecture and the emotive, historic, cinematic and spatial properties of sound. Listening is an inherent and integral part of her process in conveying how all sounds have the potential to be habitable, and can be transformative once you get inside them, as they are simultaneously intimate and immense.
Veronica Anne Salinas
Veronica Anne Salinas (she/they) is a Tejana artist, educator, researcher, writer, and Deep Listener. Her creative research engages sound, landscape, geomancy, writing, anthropology, performance, the archive, and video. Her work in sound focuses on acoustic ecology, text scores, voice and language, listening practices, spatial audio, improvisation, performance, and archiving. She holds an MFA in Sound from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, is currently studying Deep Listening at the Center for Deep Listening at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and serves as a teaching artist and board member for the Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology.
Violet Palace
Violet Palace is an artist most concerned with how sound feels in the body. They have been a tap dancer for 20 years and a drummer for 10, and within the past decade they have been incorporating noise music into their practice of embodied resonant sound. Violet hopes to organize communities around sound, and to help people realize the practices most accessible for their bodies to experience transformative resonant sound.
